Privacy notice
This notice was last updated on November 6, 2026.
This notice explains what personal information we collect through chaickout.com, why, who helps us process it, how long we keep it and what rights you have.
Who we are
chaickout.com is run by Retail Robotic Solution Inc., a Delaware corporation, 2093 Philadelphia Pike, #6975, Claymont, DE 19703, United States. We decide why and how the information described here is processed, so we are its controller.
You can reach us about anything in this notice at privacy@chaickout.com.
What this notice covers
This notice covers chaickout.com, the Let’s talk form and the emails we send in reply. It does not cover our checkout systems at a client’s sites: how the terminal’s camera and its images are handled there is agreed with each client in their contract.
What we collect and why
When you visit the site
Every visit reaches our server. Your IP address, the address of the page and what your browser sends with each request are used to deliver the site and to protect it from attacks and abuse, in our legitimate interest in running a secure site (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Our server keeps your IP address only in its memory, to limit how often the form can be sent; it never writes it down, and it is gone when the server restarts.
When you send a request
The Let’s talk form asks for the type of your business, the number of your sites (unless you are a partner), your full name, your work email and your company. Your POS, your phone number and a message are optional. With the request we keep the page you sent it from, the language of that page and the time.
We use this to reply to you, to prepare a first call and to discuss how our products could work for your business. We process it to take the steps you asked for before a possible contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and in our legitimate interest in answering business inquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). You don’t have to send us anything, but without your name, work email and company we can’t reply.
Technical data that comes with a request
With each request our server keeps a hash of your IP address, made with a secret salt, and the browser string your browser sends. We use them only to look into abuse of the form, in our legitimate interest in keeping it safe (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We clear the hash after 30 days and the browser string after 30 days.
The check that you are not a bot
When you start filling in the form, the page loads a bot check from our security provider. It looks at signals from your browser and device to tell people from automated programs and tells us only whether the check passed. This is our legitimate interest in keeping spam and abuse away from the form (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Visit statistics
We count visits with our own statistics tool, which runs on our hosting in the EU. It records the pages viewed, how far down they are read, which buttons and questions are opened, which links to other sites are followed, whether the form was started and sent, and how fast the pages load. With each visit it notes the browser, operating system, type of device, screen size, language, the site you came from and the country, region and city your IP address points to. It stores no IP address and uses no cookies: visits are grouped by a value that changes every day, so they can’t be linked from one day to the next.
If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, the site doesn’t load the statistics at all. We rely on our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Error reports
If something on the site breaks, the page or our server sends a report to our error monitoring service, in its EU region: what failed, where in the code, the browser and the path of the page. We remove personal information from these reports before they are sent. This is our legitimate interest in keeping the site working (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Server logs
Our server logs each request with its method, path, status and time. The logs don’t contain your IP address, the query string of the address or anything you type into the form.
Emails
After you send a request, we email you a confirmation of what you told us in the form, without your message and your phone number, and we email our team the whole request. Both emails are sent through our email delivery service. The team’s copy stays in our mailbox.
Cookies and similar technologies
The site itself sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser’s local storage. The bot check on the form, from our security provider, sets no cookies either. Once it loads, when you start filling in the form, it keeps one item in its own local storage in your browser:
cf.turnstile.u: it helps the check tell people from automated programs. It stays until you clear your browser’s data for this site.
It is strictly necessary for security, so we don’t ask for consent and the site has no cookie banner.
Visit statistics and error reports use no cookies.
International transfers
We are a company in the United States. The site’s database and our visit statistics are stored in the EU, with our hosting provider in the Netherlands, and error reports stay with our error monitoring service in Frankfurt, Germany.
Service providers help us with hosting, email, security and error reports. They process personal information only on our instructions, under contracts that oblige them to protect it. Some of them, such as our email delivery service, store information in the United States, and they and we may access it from there. Where such a transfer needs a safeguard, we rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework for the providers certified under it, and otherwise on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, with their UK and Swiss versions where they apply. You can ask us for a copy of these safeguards at privacy@chaickout.com.
We may also share information within our group of companies when they help us answer you, with our professional advisers under a duty of confidentiality, and with authorities when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Requests: 24 months after we receive them, then they are deleted automatically. If we start working together, what we need moves into our business records and is kept as long as the relationship and the law require.
- The hash of your IP address: 30 days after the request. The browser string: 30 days after the request.
- Emails about a request: in our mailbox for the same 24 months, and up to 30 days, at our email delivery service.
- Error reports: up to 90 days, at our error monitoring service.
- Server logs: up to 90 days, at our hosting provider.
- Visit statistics: as long as they help us understand how the site is used. They hold no name, email address or IP address.
A deleted request can remain in a backup of the database until that backup is replaced.
Your rights
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you have the right to:
- get a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- have it corrected if it is wrong.
- have it deleted.
- have its use restricted.
- receive the information you gave us in a common, machine-readable format.
To use these rights, write to privacy@chaickout.com from the address you used in the form, so we know the request is yours. We reply within one month and tell you if we need longer, as the law allows.
You can also complain to a data protection authority, in particular where you live or work. The European Data Protection Board lists the authorities in the EU. In the UK it is the Information Commissioner’s Office, and in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.
Your right to object
Where we rely on our legitimate interests, you can object to our use of your personal information at any time, on grounds relating to your situation. We then stop, unless we have compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests or need the information to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Write to privacy@chaickout.com.
Your rights under California law
If you live in California, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose, to have it deleted, to have it corrected and not to be treated differently for using these rights.
We collect these categories of personal information:
- identifiers: your name, email address and phone number.
- professional information: your company, the type of your business, the number of its sites and your POS.
- internet activity: the pages viewed and the actions on them in our statistics, and the browser string sent with a request.
We collect them from you and from your browser, for the purposes described above, and disclose them only to our service providers, for the same purposes. We do not sell or share personal information, as the California Consumer Privacy Act defines these words, and we don’t collect sensitive personal information.
To make a request, write to privacy@chaickout.com. Someone you authorize in writing can make it for you. We confirm a request is yours by writing back to the address you used in the form, and we reply within 45 days. The site honors Global Privacy Control: when your browser sends it, the site doesn’t load its statistics.
Children
The site is meant for businesses and isn’t directed to children under 16. We don’t knowingly collect their information.
Security
The site is served only over HTTPS. Requests are kept in a database in the EU that only our team and our hosting provider can reach. We store IP addresses only as salted hashes, and nothing personal goes into our logs, statistics or error reports.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle personal information, we update this page and the date at its top.
